Bautista and Romero Report to Dunedin

The 2013 season is more or less underway for Jose Bautista and Ricky Romero – both players have reported to Dunedin, Florida for Spring Training more than a week before pitchers and catchers were due to arrive.

“Ready para la batalla”
Jose Bautista is ready for battle – being the leader, he’s first to show and last to go. This artillery soldier can appreciate Bautista’s time appreciation – on time on target / a la hora en el objetivo.

The rest of the position players are due to report on Saturday February 16th – while the pitchers and catchers are due to show up Tuesday the 12th.

If we truly make it to the "next level" this year it'll be because Bautista's wrist is ready and solid for the year and Romero's control comes back. The two guys who can/will/should make the big difference this year are the two that are there early - rearing to go. Leaders - both of them. Is it April yet? Log in to Reply
