The TORONTO BLUE JAYS WINTER TOUR presented by TD, featuring players and personnel from the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club, will make stops in three Canadian cities in the month of January.
The 2016 Tour will include fan autograph sessions, a salute to the Canadian Armed Forces, visits to local elementary schools and other unique local community appearances. The 6th annual Blue Jays Winter Tour, presented by TD, will continue to build on the success of the team’s 2015 AL East Division Championship success and acknowledge our fans for their support in communities across Canada.
Beginning in FREDERICTON January 17 and 18, the tour will continue west to TORONTO, January 19, 20 and 21, then return east to wrap up in OTTAWA, January 22 and 23. Blue Jays players will make a selection of appearances in each city throughout the tour with a complete list of events available at bluejays.com/wintertour.
In Fredericton, the Club’s first Winter Tour trip to New Brunswick, Blue Jays players will interact with some of their younger fans while visiting the students of NEW MARYLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL before heading to 5TH CANADIAN DIVISION SUPPORT BASE GAGETOWN to interact and participate in some tactical training with our Canadian Armed Forces troops.
In Ottawa, children and families from the CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF EASTERN ONTARIO and BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF OTTAWA will have a special meet and greet with Blue Jays players. In addition to other local community appearances and a private youth baseball event with BASEBALL NEW BRUNSWICK, there are opportunities for fans of all ages to get up close and meet the players at scheduled autograph sessions at REGENT MALL (Fredericton), UPPER CANADA MALL (Toronto) and ST. LAURENT CENTRE (Ottawa).
