Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was scratched 40 mins before yesterdays game in New York, meanwhile it was learned that Alek Manoah’s season has certainly come to an end.

In Tuesday’s opener in New York Guerrero looked awkward running, and then was then lifted for a pinch-runner due to right knee discomfort. Instead of playing in Wednesday’s game, he went for an MRI. The results have not been released.

Update:The club said an MRI on his right knee showed no structural damage. He is dealing with inflammation and is considered day to day.
