Blue Jays Coaching Staff Updates
Organization November 9, 2023 Erik 0

The Toronto Blue Jays are making some coaching changes following the 2023 season. Here’s all of the information we have so far.
Dave Hudgens, the Blue Jays (former) hitting strategist, new role will be out of the player development complex in Florida in a “hybrid role.”
Don Mattingly, the Blue Jays bench coach, will be taking on an expanded role as the Blue Jays “offensive coordinator.”
Carlos Febles, formerly the Red Sox 3rd base coach, will take on the same role with the Blue Jays after the departure of Luis Rivera.
DeMarlo Hale, the Blue Jays former bench coach from 2013-2018, re-joins the organization as “associate manager.”
Elsewhere, major league coach Adam Yudelman and mental performance coach Jimmy Van Ostrand will not return to the position next season but may return to the organization in a different role.
