This has turned out to be one of the Blue Jays most expensive pitchers of all time. As of this day, Hyun Jin Ryu is the highest cost pitcher in franchise history per appearance (100 innings minimum) at a whopping $1,142,373/game. Kevin Gausman and Chris Bassitt are No. 2 and 3, but they’re significantly lower (Gausman $688525 / Bassitt $593750).
