The Toronto Blue Jays Extended free agent third baseman Matt Chapman a qualifying offer.

Chapman was the only player header toward free agency that was extended a qualifying offer by the Blue Jays. The one-year qualifying offer is worth $20.325 million. Chapman has 7 days to accept or decline the offer. If he declines, the Blue Jays will receive draft pick compensation.

Hyun Jin Ryu, Kevin Kiermaier, Jay Jackson and Jordan Hicks were other Blue Jays free agents who were not extended a qualifying offer.
